My favorite time at the beach, when it is empty. Beautiful capture. It is magical. The light of the sun reflecting in the water is breathtaking, Rozanne. I use to camp by myself at a completely empty beach in January and February each year. It was heaven and makes for a great reflective retreat.

Funny how it happens, huh? One day people are tripping over each other on a cramped beach and the next... empty. You can almost here the sigh of welcomed relief coming from the sands...

Nice capture, Rozanne. All those folk lying on the beach must have been responsible for those floods, which you featured a wee while ago. Now the beach and coastline can rise back to their natural level. ;0) I reckon the end of summer, in Scotland, was about the 17th of May, or thereabouts. ;o) Actually after the monsoon gales of the last two days, this morning was fine and sunny and cold. Tomorrow, however, is another micro-climate... Regards, John.
