Description

This was the last shot I took before thick clouds moved in. The first batch of clouds came in when we were at that turn on the right. It cleared a little and was smooth sailing hiking to that turn on the upper left. Then the clouds moved in again and it was thick. Seeing nothing, it was no point of going any further... Everyone had turned around and so did we. Grrrrrrrrrr! All that for nothing (grinds teeth) but I'd do it again in a second. Sorry I couldn't take you to the very top. Will post a few more along the way shots before moving on. Aloha and thank you for viewing

What a shame you didn't get to the top shame about the clouds what a view you would of had from up there. Great capture though

The same question as efferre...is it sacred land? I'll look forward to seeing the top one day. A really interesting series.

It is just one of those things you get the satisfaction to say "I did it" :)Great pictures. thanks for taking us on your trip. You have a great eye to capture the flow of what's going on around you and putting it into a frame. Mahalo.

Better safe than sorry, I say. Still amazing hiking series. Wonderful full view of the mountain, with a zigzag trail.

Rather than a spot of cloud in the sky, there is a spot of sky in the cloud. How nifty. What a great hike this must have been. Too bad you didn't get to the top though.

It looks such a very special place, Errol. Your shot is wonderful, so full of atmosphere.. Perhaps not meant to be to reach the summit.. I am glad your were there and that you can share this special place with us all. Aloha. Diane.

Great POV, DOF and mountain greenery in this capture, Shark! I like the way the visitors are clambering their way down the path.
