Just a little something something.
Friday, Sept 14, 2007 I attended a victorian parade which I was casually photographing but as the people walked by and the pictures were captured, ideas began to take shape.
Something about these clothes capture a mood of a simpler time whether it was or not. Things were much slower paced, more viceral, but also a living was generally much harder.

Great integration of the different photos, and marvelous comments as well. Alot of people just aren't thinking when they say "things were better back then"; from our point of view the era has a certain rustic charm and produced some wonderful poetic insults, but I am eating Doritos now and they did not have Doritos.
