Description

The Walhalla is located near Regensburg about 10 km down the Danube and can be seen from great distances. The Doric style marble temple was build under King Ludwig I in 1830-42 by Leo von Klenze, who modelled it on the Pantheon in Athens. The interior houses busts honouring famous Germans. Thanks for viewing.

I lose myself in the full size image -- imagine being there. I like your restraint -- not zooming in on the greco-roman architectural marvel in the background. Instead, you let the viewer find their own way to it.

Fantastic landscape and impressive mood. The building on the hill looks like a greek temple, an interesting structure. Excellent shot!

Beautiful shot as always. I agree with the hordes, it's wonderful the way you allow the viewer to wander the massive corn fields and discover the great building by themselves.
