Description

Some months ago international group of astronomers has found out a planet (Gliese 581) near star Gliese on distance of 20,5 light years from solar system. The temperature of a surface of this planet is 0-40°C. Besides probably there is a water on its surface, most likely in a liquid condition. Owing to a high probability of presence of an extraterrestrial life and similarity of parameters to the Earth this planet has been named by "Super-Earth". So this view can be really seen from one of planets with a water surface, for example, near to Rosette Nebula (NGC 2244) with 4500 light years distance. I think, that now it's not a science fiction any more, it's our Universe. Discover it, that's really interesting! Rosette nebula (from APOD site of NASA)rendered as background shader. Thank You for viewing and comment.

Nice. Love the water reflections. Great use of colour. The 2 suns look a bit edgy but overall love the impact of this. Real colourful!

Good work mate. The exploration of our Universe would be such a great leap forward for man. Most of the wars would probably stop for at least 2-3 years just because everyone is too busy trying to be the first to find "Our New Home."

This is a really nice picture. I wonder what it would look like if you made it up so it looked like night time, maybe with a moon in the sky.
