Description

I seem to be stuck in cowboy-land for the moment...not that that's a bad thing! : ) Sometimes the moon is soooo bright that it's hard to get a good night's sleep! Anyway, rendering a night-time picture was a unique challenge, but I thought it turned out okay. I'm still struggling with the ins & outs of Vue, so don't give up on me...I'll get there yet! Thanks for stopping by and looking!

Very nice and moody night scene. I feel inspired for my next project ;) One lil note: I hope no realy horses were hurt in making this render. In reality I guess the cowboy would have taken off the saddle for the night and use it as a pillow.

beautiful. the stars a rather bright considering the brightness of the moon and of the clouds in the sky, and a good cowboy would never go to sleep with the fire still burning and not banked, but like the saddle, these are a points of accuracy rather than artistry. the lighting is exquisite, and the choice of title inspired. the pose is great. very natural, and seemingly effortless. everything in the scene looks great and perfectly placed. great job!
