To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather

I'm rather torn as to which I like best -- she's a beauty in both -- but my eyes keep going back to the first image ... the texture and brush work make it more unique and a bit mysterious. Beautiful work, Mina. Hey, since I like 'em both can I give it 10*? ;o)
efferre

I like both Mina, for different reasons. The bottom being more real and the top being more illustrative. You have a beautiful daughter, I hope she is well. :o)

Very cool Mina, excellent treatment!

I think I like the more textured version. It has more of an "art" feel to it. the expression you captured seems like one only a parent can conjure. very cool image.

Given my interests, you might know that I would prefer the first one. But, I can appreciate both. The first communicates mood & mystery more. I really think you did a wonderful job with this. You really know how to create drama. Fabulous work, Mina. Hugs, Suzanne

What a Pretty daughter you have. She looks alot like you. It is difficult to choose, but I think I like the green one the most, seen from an artistic point of view :). Very well done. I like it very much.
