Description
The Castle of Gerard the Devil in Ghent, Flanders, in the middle foreground (the grey building with the steeples)
Gerard, a knight in the 14th century, was not really the Devil - that was just the nickname he was given because he wasn't a very nice chap, and some of his enemies mysteriously disappeared. His "castle" was just a very large building befitting a nobleman of his rank and wealth.
(By the way, if you walk down the lane on the right, then turn left just before the round-looking building, 50 yards down that side-street is where I live.)

You live in a wonderful place! All the places to explore! I like the castle view but I also find the row of houses across the left wonderful. Taken piece at a time, this looks so very orderly but as a whole it is less than organized. Great shot.
