I tend to stay away from lens flares but it seems to work for this image.

A trick for 'staying away from lens-flares' that was used in the recent Babylon-5 DVDs very effectively is to use a normal light then add 'Bloom' in post- processing. It is nicely realistic in a way lens-flares don't tend to be..
