Description

greetings...:). sharing my recent, digital work, "Terracotta", painted in painter, using tablet. i was after a traditional feel, having a wash look, something like brush n ink. i used to paint a lot in this style with real media (watercolors, ink, brush and pen on paper), so i really enjoyed working on this piece..:). its a self-visualized work, painted all from scratch. pleasure viewing...:). waheednasir. www.waheednasir.com

That's a really interesting style. I like the tight lines in contrast to the soft coloring. The angular strokes in the background looks really nice:)

An exciting style! I am particularly drawn to the rays of light in different planes. I communicates to me the movement of particles in the air that go unseen until the light's rays strike it. That is a wonderful effect here. I love how the light patterns blend into and the pattern carries on in the terracotta pot. The flowers washed appearance with the different shaped ink outlines entertains my eyes, with the sharpe corners in irregular patterns, and some flowing curves as well. Another stunning work, Waheed. Hugs, Suzanne

The composition is very balanced and the rendition of the pot and flowers all accomplished with good artistic tempraments. My only downside are the strong angular movements in the backdrop being in too much contrast to the flowers. Thank you for sharing. egmont
