Description


This is a piece of hardware I modeled for a new product coming out. It's actually a work in progress as I still have a few more elements to add. I like the progress so far and wanted to post my results. Total time spent modeling and texturing was about six hours. Let me know what you think.

That's a nice complicated bit of modeling :) I'd suggest a little bevel or fillet (depending on what Lightwave calls it) on some of the edges to make them look a bit less sharp e.g. the plastic inside of the RCA jacks and the gray molded shell. You might also make the texture of the gray molding a little less mottled, and turn down specular width on the metal parts.
