Description
Today we visit the Tamarian Citrus Flames. They are a most unique and interesting formation. Their glowing citrus orange colors come from the Spice Planet that is not too far away from this formation. So, how do we know that the Spice Planet is the source of this formation's glowing colors? Now that is an interesting story to be sure. This is how we think it happened. It is thought that The Tamarian Citrus Flames were once a part of the Spice Planet. It is surmised that long ago when the planets were young and were just beginning to form, star matter and other things that go bump in the night were bouncing around in this region. This was when the planets and their many orbiting partners were still floating in space in close little communities. Our little planet was moving along quite happily. Along comes a meteor and plows right into our planet. Pow! Bang! Smash! Space stuff goes flying everywhere and a little chunk of our planet breaks off and floats off into space. We now call this planet the Spice Planet. The finer debris created a ring around the Spice Planet and has an orangey glow to it. The larger part of the planet that floated away became an orbiting moon of sorts. It is not a moon in the sense as we relate to moons, but it maintains an elliptical orbit around the Spice Planet and from time to time collects particles from the Spice Planet's rings giving it an astounding orange glow. When samples were collected from the Tamarian Citrus Flame formation and tested, they had many of the same mineral properties of our Spice Planet. Well, this may not be exactly how this all happened. Nevertheless, it definitely makes for good reading in our guidebook. The Tamarian Citrus Flames provide a beautiful light show for travelers as they pass by this formation. You can find postcards of the formation and other souvenirs in our gift shop on the orbiting space station nearby. Thank you for traveling the Tamarian Cruise Lines. We look forward to seeing you again. Created in Apophysis. Thank you for stopping by to look at my art. Thank you for your comments on this image and my previous images. I send a heart felt thank you to those of you who favored me as an artist or favored one of my images. I appreciate it very much.
