self portrait, I have long arms.
I started in photography with a 35mm Pentax about 30 years ago, took a few day courses at a community college, had fun with it for a number of years but my interests and lesiure time changed so I eventually sold the camera. Got in to it again when I got my first computer about 6 years ago and discovered that the pictures from disposable cameras could be put on cd discs. This led to the purchase of an Olympus digital (a point and shoot model) and to my latest which is a Z Model Kodak which has a 5X zoom and is an 8.1 megapixel. A 2X lens magnifier and c.c. complete the package and all this was cheaper to purchase than either of my other two. It's put the fun back in photography for me. Hope one of my photos has triggered an emotion within you, thanks for looking.

I don't see many of these any more. Not too many steam engines that need to cool down traveling the rails now. Good, clear shot.

I recall a movie about a prisoner of war camp and the man hid in the water tank for several days in freezing weather.in the Filipines, I went up and painted a tank very similar to this one out in a province as a favor to a family.the bad part all I had was cheap sandals and the rebar walkway killed my feet excellent capture of a bit of history
