Description

Since Bryce won't allow a terrain to have a volume mat, I was experimenting with booleaning a wavy terrain and a cube and then making a mesh of it. Gosh darn if it didn't work. Gives a more uneven rolling shape, instead of flat like Bryce fog. Also added an altitude trans mat to the Bryce tree trunks to get rid of the roots and then added a taller trunk mesh. Sun is a 2d disk with a parallel light on it.

I agree with Rosely Fantastic! It will be the title of our next Novel (Claude19 & MU) "Soleil Rouge" ;-)

Great job David. I also just drop a huge, nearly flat, cube on/over the ground and use a cloud texture fill on the cube, for rolling fog effects. Big thumbs up from Dave :^)

Wow, you continue to impress me with the fact that you have probably forgotten more about the ins and outs of Bryce than I will ever hope to learn.

Reminds me of some modern Japanese screen prints that I've seen. Clever idea, too. Will have to try it.
