Description

A real maze holding the image of the Mona Lisa. Have you ever been reading a book, and noticed that, by happenstance, several of the spaces between words on consecutive lines of text, seem to form a line or a curve, like a snake slithering down the page. Decades ago, I wrote software to generate random mazes. While perusing the results I would notice the same sort of thing, where there would appear to be a curve of lightness or darkness threaded through the maze, as a result of the random connections. I often wondered if those apparent curves could be controlled. Finally, I've written the software to prove that it can be. In this randomly generated maze, if you squint a bit, you can see the Mona Lisa. Print it out and see if you can solve it!
