Description


I came up with a generalized way for creating infinite plane water mats containing shore and open sea foam. The amount of foam is adjustable. If anyone is interested in these mats, you can download the scene files here: http://www.SkinVue.net/Downloads/InfiniteWater.zip

Wow Dave, excellent results. I was playing around with it and it renders quite well. A neat tweak to this is to change the water bump function from perlin noise/gradient to water(rough). I like your creative use of the clip function as well as the turbulence added to the originating fractal in the distribution function. A very good learning experience! BTW, took a look at your terrain textures too, and they also look very nice. Thanks for sharing!
