Description

Aren't digital cameras with spinning view screens cool? I never would of thought to take this picture with my old 35mm. This was shot at the "BilletProof" car show last week. To see the whole photo album go to: http://public.fotki.com/RoySorenson/billetproof_2007/

A lot of vintage aluminum here. Genuine Strombergs, not Chandler-Groves or Holleys. Look at how the accelerator pump linkage goes into the top of the float bowl at the back of each carburetor and how the fuel enters the side of the float bowl on the other side (seen here as small hoses. The bigger hoses going to the front junction block are water.) The Desoto didn't win at Indy any more than the Harvey Aluminum Chevy. Hot rodders can still dream. Kurtiss Kraft and A. J. Watson were around even as Miller faded.
