Description
It's been a while since I posted anything and in fact, it's been a while since I even finished anything. But when I saw this character at DAZ (Bijou) I liked her and wanted to do something with her. Been having difficulty getting inspiration for new work, so this is just a simple portrait (heck, I can't even come up with a TITLE)
I played around with the lighting and the shaders -- DAZ Default made her look like she was made of plastic, so I substituted Pendragon's skin shader.
Also played around with her eyes. I remembered where I had read about creating a NULL and then making the eyes point at it. So I amused myself for a while rolling her eyes around - ok, so I'm easily amused :)
I wanted a simple studio background and didn't have anything suitable, but on a short browse through the Marketplace I found Sumptuous Settings Background set by dantescanto and fell in love with it :)
Oh, and she's wearing the Degas ballerina outfit from DAZ.

Very nice!!! Great lighting and skin texture! It is amazing what will trigger your inspiration and then the images will just seem to flow! This is excellent!

DLG thats a great portrait, with good pose and lighting, but I think it needs a little tweaking in photoshop for levels and colour balance. Just to make up for studio's deficiency in those areas.

DLG Her eyes are very pretty... Great backdrop for this portrait.. However I agree about the contrast/ color .. a little photoshop postwork would make it even better! :O)

Thanks for the comments and suggestions guys. My fear is that my limited knowledge of Photoshop wouldn't mess it up completely, so -- for now at least -- I'm going to leave this as a pure DAZ render.

Wow, great job! When I blew her up, I could see all the pores in her skin and the blood vessels in her eyes. That's a cool model if there's blood vessels in her eyes! Ha! The little frizzy hairs around her forehead are very nicely rendered, and the little lace trim across her chest has some nice AO lighting effects with the subtle shadows. Good work, Jayne! :)
