Description

I'm still learning how to use my new Nikon. Since I do so many rock-sculptures, I decided to test my luck with the auto-settings on some goofing off, so I made a ring around a nice wild cherry tree in the backyard. (okay, so I have a weird idea of goofing off...) This was one of the more fragile perchings I did, and then I wanted to see just what the camera would do with it. My only adjustments are to cut the size down some (now it's my wallpaper on my main iMac) and put a border around it. I must say, I'm thrilled with this camera, it's just amazing! Thanks for taking a look and suggestions/criticisms are certainly welcome.

Congrats on your new camera! Very symbolic photo composition. The potential kinetic energy in the rocks balancing out, at least for the moment.

GREAT shot! I can tell that you are having fun with your new camera because you've taken quite a fun picture with it. That's always a great sign, especially if "goofing off" produced art of great quality like this! The detail captured is quite sweet! I love the colors as well!

Be glad, very glad, that you and I don't live close to one another...I'd be constantly tugging on you to go out and play...lololol. Another terrific one..seems the rock AND camera play are coming along just fine :)
