Description
Nikon 7900 image.
I have seen several of these caterpillars recently. Unfortunately, they all had been caught by Green Lynx spiders and were little more than empty shriveled up husks.
Today before a little rain shower, I decided to look through the patch of Goldenrod that grows on one edge of my pond's levee. It is just starting to turn yellow and is a very good place to find all kinds of insects. My eye caught the outline of this little guy and I managed to get several good shots before the rain forced me inside.
