well and some words here...
I dont count on quantity -
I prefer quality, interest and honest&helpful critics because of that what I do -
and not because of that what I claim to be...
apart from that i want to improove with those critics...

Darn! I go crazy when someone uploads a photo of a machine without knowing what it is. Christian, my curiosity just can't take it. LOL Oh well, it's a great shot to tangle my mind with. ;-DDD Hugs, Suzanne

You already know Christian that I like such objects and especially when there are photographed in B/W. My only suggestion would be to have either moved a little more to the left or cloned out the light on the back wall as it is unfortunately where my eye seems to head for. Have a wonderful week and thank you for sharing. egmont

Very nice capture.

Honestly the subject is a bit bland like a shot you'd expect to see in your middle school 'workshop' textbook. It's also pretty flat. I think the light was not so great when you shot it. I would go back (if possible) and get a shot in better light.

sharp piece of work!
Jay-el-Jay
My guess is that it is a kind of compressor, also.Good work.

Great capture/presentation of a...well...a...thing that apparently does (or did) something with what I presume to be compressed gases. Capturing/presenting this in black and white is a great choice, especially for this particular type of subject matter.
