Description

An elven Man-O-War sails by a gas giant... Based on the Spelljammer setting, fantasy space for Dungeons and Dragons, this is an elven semi-living, partially organic ship. -Original deisng by Jim Holloway, I've been remaking them in 3d and making them more "practical" (which is funny considering it's fantasy space, hehe). Note the lower, rear turret ballista seems upside down, because the lowest deck IS upside down, reverse gravity: very odd setting but fantastic for ideas :) Modelled in Rhino, texturing with UVmapper and Paint Shop Pro, Poser for guy on deck, my own ballistas, rendered in Vue6 Infinite, post work with PSP :)

I once painted a picture (for a comic book, many years ago) that this reminds me of. Superb work!!

Outstanding work. Perhaps too much scenery, it detracts a little from the ship. And a model this good should be the main attraction. 5
