Description
Thought I'd take a break from my Evening Light WIP. This uses the same terrain and populations just a different camera position and lighting. Yeah, it is kinda cheesy :)

Well, I think the trees SHOULD be dark since the sun is coming up in the distance. What we see of the trees should be in shadow. I've seen real world scenes like this in the Pacific Northwest. My only quibble is a Terragen one. Notice that the reflection of the tree who's tip is touching the sun (look in the water) is lit up? That is the reflection is lit up, but the tree isn't. I'm really not sure if that's optically correct (anyone want to correct me?). Great work. You've got a small portfolio but it's top notch.
