To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

I see the figure on the right as if stuck in stone, perhaps remembering how one use to be, or perhaps a ghostly tale as others have mentioned. A rememberance of how one once was perhaps, the passing of time. The house reminds me of Dickens,..excellent image Mina and a good story this morning. :)

OH yes, it reminds me of my poor mother, who lost her memories from Alzheimer desease and now must live with only present time. It is a fantastic image, Mina and sometimes I wish I was better at finding the right words for commenting. Excellent expression.
