I'm not sure whether there's enough contrast in this. Comments would be appreciated.
I used UF4.
Thanks for viewing.

Beautiful and subtle work ;O)

I don't usually look at fractal art closely, because it's usually too remote and abstract for my taste. The constrained contrast on this made me sit up and look - I think it's an excellent piece. Might be stone, might be fabric, might be something else entirely. I like it a lot.

Well, it's hard to see it very well until you click to see the larger version, but on a card of some kind, like an invitation, this would be really beautiful! I can definitely see it being used for that sort of purpose, and being appreciated by many! You should see if there's really a way to make cards with that engraved on them!

I don't calibrate my monitor so don't take my word for it, but this looks very light to me. The background texture doesn't appear properly until I change my settings. That said, it's a really lovely image.

Beautiful 3D effect.

Whao! (yes, "whao"! - means "whoa" in Chinese....which means "cool" and not "slow down, ya dang horse" - what, me make a typo??? lol) Awesome job, Diane! With this technique (and a LOT of playing around), any fractal can be a "slope" type.

Superb! I love the subtle coloring with the crisp shadow lines! Perfect.
