Description

You can try to capture a moment, but it never really works. You can grab pieces here and there, but never the whole thing--never the smell, or the texture of the floor underfoot. Sometimes you are confronted with a pleasant intrusion. It is in this strange time that you realize the nature of a waking dream. Faces of friends who have never met may intrude upon one another, jostling for new positions and negotiating new ways in which they will fit in the convoluted recesses of your mind. When you let it happen, not questioning the process (as involuntary as it may be) the world changes if only for a moment. And if you can touch the essence of that change, then you'll always find yourself in interesting places. As always, thank you for viewing this and my previous posts.

Absolutely beautiful words to go with a very expressive and meaningful image. I really like how you demonstrate visually through the image what you also say with words regarding capturing the essence of time. This is so true, and a great reminder for us to treasure and value every minute of what we do have. Superb colours used, and a very handsome man that you've captured, indeed. His eyes seem to be looking off into the distance..... a very nice mood and atmosphere indeed. It kind of depicts the happenings of a fast paced world. Lovely work!
