Description

This piece had a lot of inspirations:) It started with me having to come up with costumes for a horse show I am doing this coming Saturday. A friend and I both have buckskin horses and I decided it would be fun to become the "Buckskin Warriors" for the show.As i began on the costumes I decided to do a painting too:) As it progressed further I decided I wanted to add a little of the style and technique of the great equine master painter George Stubbs and also add the color and atmosphere of "Georgy's" great horse photos as well. If you haven't seen Georgy's fantastic horse photography here on R'osity you are in for a grand treat! And for fun I will post photos of myself and my friend in the costumes I designed and made, from the show next week as they have a great photographer friend of mine shooting the show. I hope you all have a great day and thanks again so much for all the support you have all shown me this past year here! It is deeply appreciated!! Production notes: Daz Mil Horse posed and morphed in Poser 5, imported into Bryce 5 and a modified texture map of the Daz pack used. Rendered in Bryce and heavily postworked in Photoshop CS. Mane and tail were created using Ravenheart's Heavenly Hair products and also postworked as well with an Intuos 3 tablet. The backdrop was my first attempt at a painted style - created entirely in Photoshop CS.

You seem to prefer using Bryce for rendering ...........is there a reason for this ? Also, how did you create the blanket ? From what you say I am assuming that you painted them ??? Excellent work. One of your best !!!!
