Description
These calves are lovely subjects but you must be patient and calm to get close shots. They are very trusting and when they get used to you will come right up to you. Some of them will even stick their heads thru the fence and goobie all over your clothes - if you let them. Talking to them in gentle tones seems to win their trust.

Superb shot buddy! Love the green in the background and excellent detail on the calf itself. Beauty of spring eh?... Still happy I'm not out there on a farm for calving this season ;P. Hope you're keeping well there mate.

Fantastic detail and perfect DOF. The wires add a sense of geometry that is unique. Bravo!
