Description

Perhaps I'm running out of clever names :) This was another experiment ... Using a lot of layer masks, adjustment curves, and hue adjustments, along with selective blurs. I had uploaded a shot like this before that was in the same can, but was a straight shot. I found shooting large buildings a challenge only because of distractions such as Bill Boards and Traffic. So I experimented with blurs, then I messed with this in every way lol. Starting image:65 meg slide scan from Velvia 100. Next, creating layer masks for all of the facets on the buildings. Each mask was then used for adjustments, including Hue, Saturation, Contrast etc... End file size .. 900 meg oh my :) I was unsure as to place this in "Photo Manipulation" , as this is a demo for an architect:) All the best! Kurt An update :) For some reason beyond me, there had been "camera data" displayed from my Canon XTI.. Well, that was impossible as this was an E6 slide I had scanned with a Nikon Coolscan IV only 2 days ago lol. I had been working on some XTI shots, and had done some copy and paste on other pieces at the same time which may explain Photoshop's confusion lol! PS .. Thanks for the wonderful comments!
