it's a grenade launcher...sort of the same as we have (40mm)...we trade ideas with the Russians back and forth all the time..;) Never seen a launcher like that on a '47, could be a later variant; s74, m, or even later than that (haven't paid serious attention since the 80s'..;) great modeling, whatever the vintage...keep it up.

I think this is an AK 74 because of muzzle brake and piston, that I have never seen in this form on an AK 47 nevertheless nice work
