Description
Portrait of Yshnaeia Calenture Ardsheild (Morbida), a D&D character of mine. She's a half-celestial elf, and is about to turn 100 (which is essentially 16 in human years), and her coming out party/cotillion is next game session. I suspect that there will be monsters invovled. There are a few earlier pictures of her (before the wings sprouted, and she stopped dyeing her hair black) earlier in my gallery.
The wings are by etujedi (Shattered Image 3d) and I used a mix-and-match of multiple textures. They are the only wings I've found that actually fold.
From a technical point of view, I used the Fairytale castle entrance from DAZ, and a single spot with an IBL light. The IBL is biased towards blue, and the spot towards pink. The dress is the Galoneal dress from DAZ, with the use of (sometimes modified) shaders from Tabala.

Very sweet indeed! She has a very innocent look - pose and expression. I love the rich and intricate textures in this image, but most of all I love the wings - so unusual!

just a small correction to give credit where credit is due: though the wings are sold at rawart3d.com and RawArt did make an excellent set of textures for them, they are actually created and sold by Shattered Image 3d (at rawart3d.com), or etujedi as he goes by at DAZ. he also created the Griffin and Dragon Fly sold there, and is now a DAZ staff member. cute image!

The lighting is really nice :) Some of the geometry doesn't seem to have antialiased as I would expect though, the steps are showing jagginess kind of strongly, and it's visible in some other places as well. Very nice natural pose on the feet.

Nice! It looks like she's being pleasantly suprised by an unexpected gathering of friends (or is considering casting a spell at an unexpected monster crashing the party). Love the choice of clothing and lighting. The aliasing on the stairs really shows on the full-sized view, though. But wonderful overall.
