Quote: What happens when it is the dream that awakes and the sleeper that fades into memory? Description: To human eyes, Khimaira's mask affects the seeming of a well-favored man in his mid 20s. His body possesses the tight, lean frame of a dancer, its panther-like movements attesting to the predator just beneath the surface. His dark, penetrating eyes scrutinize anyone he speaks to as if searching their souls for misdeeds or malicious intentions. He dresses in casual clothes, as if always ready to travel. Beneath his mask, lyre-shaped horns jut from Khimaira's forehead to hold back his darkly flowing mane, and his eyes take on the round black glassy of a blackbird's. His face sloops forward slightly, his features gaining a definite leonine cast. His unguligrade legs end in cloven hooves, while a tufted tail completes the image of bestial perfection. His mantle manifests as a cool wind stirring up periodically around him, the occasional corvine feather dancing in its flow. Storytelling Hints: Outwardly calm and composed, Khimaira is possessed of a primal rage burning deep within him, the legacy of his time in Faerie. While he has seemingly mastered this aspect of his psyche - "the hunter" as he refers to it - by channeling it into his relentless pursuit of fae secrets, it can quickly boil violently to the surface when one of his wards is threatened. A true shepherd, he considers it one of his primary duties to teach his charges how to understand the world of the fae and, perhaps more importantly, how to survive in it. ---------- My Changeling: The Lost character.
