Description

Being Danish, I grew up on H.C. Andersen and the story of the gentle Little Mermaid. This mermaid, however, is of a more dangerous kind, I fear. In old legends mermaids and sirens were much the same, creatures that would sing to sailors and make them forget about their work on the ships, so they fell overboard or caused shipwrecks. Shipwreck by John Stevenson (Cornucopia) Gemstones (Freebee) by Clark Cook (Cornucopia) Underwater set : Angela Hauer (Cornucopia)

Wow, that is just fantastic! It's just so...fantastic. Ha! I am speechless. The caustic lighting, the underwater realm, the hair, the expression, all of it, not a mis-step anywhere. Perfect! Wonderful! I do love mermaids, even not so nice ones. :)
