Still learning photo repair...
Replced background, used the "heal" tool a lot...
Any suggestions???

cloneing. Look it up under help. If you have that funtion, It will help you a lot. If you'r painting, I'd sugest to put you brush on blue and go the 3 size brush up. Have your paint on real light fade... adjust it darker when you get compfotable with it. These procedures help match what you're painting. I still see two stains that you can take out. Left shoulder and midsection. The cloneing tool is usefull if you want to copy a button. Always file your original and never save over it, always use save as... If you get in the habit of hitting save as, you won't lose your original. If you need to make a certain edge and you don't have it, try flipping the picture. I spent a couple ours on a picture today where I had permission to redue another artists work. It will be posted tomorrow if you want to see it. It's called: Peace can you see it. good luck, hope to read a comment from you tomorrow on my posting. ...by the way, if this is your first touch up, you did excellent. I would of just matched the background and painted it, but it looks like you got a nice clean edge.
