Description
Nikon 7900 image.
Recently I came upon this beautiful little crawler. It was the 2nd time this year that I have seen one. I had a difficult time getting a good shot the 1st time because that one was very active and very fast, lol.
Fortunately, the 2nd attempt turned out quite a bit better because this one was very content to stay where I put him for a shot. As a result of this cooperation, I managed to get a number of good shots with varied backgrounds. I posted one of those images about a week or so ago and since I liked some of the other shots as well, I am posting this image. I will post a few others as time goes by.

ya got me looking for info on bugs now, guy! I happened into What's That Bug and went through only about 1/5th of the pictures of catipillars and wow! There are some awesome ones. This is one of those. The bazaar tuffs and spiky hair... Excellent detail!
