Description

This is a freebie vault for Carrara I snaffled (sorry I forget where from) Some of the textures are missing - and the lighting and floor are wrong for my intended use. In the next image I grunge it a bit in C6 using shaders. These images link to a thread in the critique forum.

The arches need more vertices to make the polygonal nature fit a stone work or to just let that idea smooth. Working with Carrara is a subtle proceeding of decision on how many where and which technique now. Too many and the memory eventually tachs out. Too few and it looks crude or toy like. With 2 gigs of memory going too heavy is way out there. Even with 512mb it was only a shift into swap and long waits to finish. Now in 6 the challenge is to get it not to double on an extrusion flaring in and out simultaneously as it anticipates champfers and fillets. These groins are WINGS kind of stuff.
