Description

I've been working on this for about three days. I constructed the ref. image ( high res ) from several low rez images, then used the new ref. image as a background guide in MAX to model all the details. It's as accurate as it's gonna get. It turned out real nice I think.

Very nice sword modeling. I'd make the blade a bit longer, to put it into better proportions, but thats just me. Good Job. =DBZ=

Heh, wow. I have held an accurate reproduction of that sword, made by a company called Raven Armoury. Heavy, but surprisingly wellbalanced. In the right hands, a powerful weapon. Your model is astounding in it's detail, but the original has a small amount of higher detail. Nothing that can't be achieved with some bump maps and some diffusion maps. Awesome work, BL. Absolutely awesome
