Description
When this bridge was built, licensed cafés quickly set up their bars, tables and chairs to grab the attention of passers by.
Unfortunately, it also attracted the attention of authorities when drunk patrons kept falling to their peril into the icy cold water.

Thanks all! Fred...sorry I forgot to mention that!!!! It is Melbourne Australia, and the river is called The Yarra. The name is Aboriginal and it means 'ever flowing'. The whole area is very sacred to the Koori people (Australian Aborigines) You can find similar photos of this area in my gallery. Andrew
