Description

I wasn't really sure if i'd post this or not.. (It still is missing something(s)... but I think i'll move on to something else as I have been stuck on it for a while) {I know the hair is a bit 'crazy'... really need to work out how to create hair in Max one day} I am experimenting with a new skin shader setup. (Takes longer to render tho :( ) But, I think I am getting close to what I am after with the shader setup. :) Feel free to comment etc.. :) ----Additional Credits---- Hair model and V4 from Daz -------------------------- Morphed in Poser, shaded, rendered, tweaked and setup in Max

It's hard to evaluate a skin shader's performance in this kind of diffused lighting situation. I can see some SSS effect in there, so that's a good thing. This lighting would depend more on the texture to drive the realism than a complex shader, but every little bit helps. I really like the softness to the render, and the character's face is pleasing. I think her eyes need some things to help enhance the realism, but otherwise, well done!

she is adorable nice work!but if you are using max for the final rendering why don't you try to use Fur and Hair??Its much much better than the alfa cut....With the combination of V-ray you'll have better and fantastic results. take care and keep it up.D.O.F looks nice :) friendly Constantine
