Description

"The Angel of the Night" While my frogs are on the way to BallGrad, decided to make something different, got inspiration from the picture of the river at early morning.. I forgot to add that the small cloth was deformed using cloth room, that is simple Cloth plane ... everything looks so simple but take 6 hours to set up especially the right surfaces... I used my all times old poser love M2 with my own textures, not much to see from this render but trust me they are fine...Using the new Poser7 morphing tools i corrected not only his prominent muscle arms but also the places that was bad deformed while posing , this is really great new tool, and also the Direct Manipulation Tools are amazing, i really never have to scroll the Parameters again while working and posing, and searching for the b/parts no more.. it make the work really simple and with minder frustration... Ok I am going to close the novel now..:) For more info ZOOM in and check out the BORN-SCENE it show up from the start by adding the models to the scene to the last moment when the scene was ready to render..including zoom, position and rescale...just the movement i did .. Thank you for your comments xoxo Cath ========================================== You Need Divx codec to watch this avi...3 sec, 250kb wireframe ========================================== http://www.mec4d.com/making-of-angelo.avi

Great set-up, posing and mood. Wonderful melting of 3D and 2D-background. Interesting that P7 seems to be better with render times and ressources than P5. I always run into trouble when rendering with 12 px-sample and 0.1 shading rate with P5. Not to speak of dof! Let's hope that all your guys will return from BallGrad in good shape, btw I counted six of them. Wasn't sure if there were two more..

Thanks Guys! @ 3Dvice.. I never can do that with P5.. or even P6 crash all the time using 3Dmotion or DOF, I was so surprised this time... they did well good job on the technical side this time..even Vue would take me much more longer to render this scene.. the long time render of it made the Transparent Wings...even reflections render faster as transparent materials and AO... + using OpenGL slow down the movement a bit so you have to hide the transparent materials for better movement while working with other things... I will give 9 of 10...

I feel much poetry and sadness in this gray angel whereas the light is so near behind!! Thank you to bring the light of your explanation to us on each image: it is a great source of progress for me. Splendid work as usual. Bravo

Man that is awesome, that light is fantastic out of Poser. It's like he's under a tree or an outcropping, in shadow, actually in that scene

You are very kind to present a wonderful piece like this as an aid of instruction. Sometimes I view art that I find so daunting that it depresses me as to my own finite abilities. One is left to wonder, "where have they had the opportunity to raise their skills to that level?". But in doing so you have increased my understanding tenfold. Warmly and humbly I thank you.
