It looks good, I see you figuired out how to do the coastline. That i still struggle with...multi-layering several terrains to create a coastline is not the easiest thing to do. Getting there sweety.

All the foreground elements work very well, the mountains in the background make the scene look Brycey. Spend more time with the terrain for maountains, it is possible to make more natural looking mountains. Another thing with the mountains, I usually make them almost ten times the size of the forground and then place them in the distance to bring the distance haze into effect. This makes landscapes much more realistic. I like the trees you have here, and if you use the same tree more than once in a scene, rotate each one so you get a different view and so make them look different. Tree Tip: Spend time in the tree lab and make your trees on their own in a scene first till you have them looking perfect, save them and then merge them into the scene. I beleive you can save them as presets but I haven't used that yet so can't comment on it. The reason for making them seperatly is so you can render just the tree to see it is how you want it and speed up the process. Looking great so far iamtheonlykittie. :-)

A lovely scene and a great series of books for your inspiration! I look forward to seeing more scenes of the world of Thomas Covenant! Great coastline - I had no idea this was how they were done - multi-layered terrains. Cool!
