Description
This image is titled as "THE MALL". The concept is based on a huge mall that has all you need, literally! This mall has its own park, spaceport, villages and even a theme park! (behind the waterfall). Its a small world in one place.
This image took about 2 weeks of work on and off at about 3-4 hours a day. (Honestlly I just finished it today). I used maya for all the ships and the buidlings, Vue Infinite for the sunset (part of it), and photoshop to combine all the elements to create this image. Original working resolution is 3200 x 1600, I scaled it down to create a crisp final output. Technically this is my second matte but this is the first time I'm joining a competition. I've enjoyed doing this and I learned a lot!

Hi to all and thanks for the great comment. I can name all of you but It's great that you have taken the time to view my image. Thanks R_Cadia, thecytron, Mondwin, DIDIERM, BecSchm, MUSEWORX, DocMikeB, Tex-Mex and of course ICM, an old friend A little note though, While I was posting this, I made a small mistake perhaps due to the glitch that occured. Instead of posting this on the Maya Gallery, it seems that its under the Lightwave gallery. I'm truly sorry for that confusion. BecSchm, to answer your query, well its under 3dtotal.com, I hope thats okay to mention that. Thank you ICM, its been a while since I posted, I am now quite adept with Maya, I do hope to post a few more works soon but I guess it will be more Matte Paintings that any Bryce or Maya work. I don't to confuse people so many thanks for the little gesture. kiteflyer, Tammy thank you for taking time to drop by and even leave a comment, trully appreciate it! bobakabob, for your question, the sky is composed of three images. 2 of which are reference images (tons of them in the internet!) and the third one featuring that huge sun is a (amazinglly) one of the defualt sky of Vue infinite 6! I tried to experiment for 2 hours on a personal sky but discovered that the defualt one still looks pretty impressive. Although the only part of that render that you can see is just the big sun and a few clouds but still it fit right in! Thanks again everyone, I really appreciate it!
