Description

I took several photos of this site. I couldn't decide which I liked better. They each have something a little different. So I will probably post 3. I have a few other shots as well to share. So we will be in the graveyard for a little while. Billy Clanton, Tom McLaury, Frank McLaury: Murdered on the streets of Tombstone, 1881. Tragic results of the O.K. Corral battle, which took place between the Earp Brothers with "Doc" Holliday and The Cowboys. Three men were killed and three were wounded. If you're referring directly to the encounter at the OK Corral, I wouldn't say the Clanton gang was murdered...killed in a shootout, yes, but not what you would categorize as being murdered. The Clantons were armed and spoiling for a fight at the Corral, just like the Earps and Doc Holliday. Now if the Clantons and McLaury were killed sometime after the OK Corral battle, then that's another story. Anyway, great POV, DOF, colors, clarity, textures -- especially the rocks -- and lighting effects in this capture.
