Description

This picture was taken on a flight between Miami, Florida and San Juan, Puerto Rico in February 1989 from a KC-135E tanker of the USAF. It shows cloud build-up over several small islands of the Turks and Caicos Islands from an altitude of 36,000-ft. ~ 11,000m. The various hues of blue and turquoise indicate different water depth. This is a scanned picture. To clarify this photo! This shot was taken from the boompod of an USAF KC-135E aerial refueling tanker.
