To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

Totally my favorite time of year. All of Autumn, from the early colorful beauty of it, to the starker beauty when the leaves and color are gone, and earth allows us to see her bones. This last time out at the Hollow, I found a crow's feather. It was a bit battered, and I picked it up and carried it for a bit, intending to bring it home. I laid it down again, a few feet further, I had the very distinct feeling that it was supposed to stay there, at the edge of the pines.

Pretty and moody work, Mina. Far from your usual style. But i do like it. First of all because it has some kinda harmony to it. It is a silent picture...autumn is usually very windy.. Beautiful earth colours it has too. And i do like the simplicity it has. Art don't always need a lot of details to work. This one works.+5
