Description

this scene was made in 3dmax,rendered with Finalrender, The buildings have been modeled for various projects over the last few months & in a rush of inspiration I threw them all into this scene Cheers Stefan I also made a 9 second Quicktime of the scene, edited with After effects. http://www.stefan-morrell.com/video/Urbanwonderland.mov

Max rules! What would have been really cool would be to isolate the image with only the oldest looking buildings, add a touch of film aging and the final image would almost be indistinguishable from real!

I love the modern city buildings in the background especially...is there any chance that they might be purchasable at some later date?

As always, perfection. You should write more tutorials on various subjects. I read your tutorial on painting hard surfaces and it helped me a lot. Keep up the good work.

I like the way the old, dingy street leads the eye on towards the optimism implied by the newer buildings: but is it just a case of the grass always being greener..?
