Tinkering away I came up with this funky terrain... One thing led to another and here is the funky moonscape. I have made this scene file available as a freebie via my free stuff here at Renderosity. Thanks for looking, comments appreciated.

one of the things i really like about this picture is the Robert Matthews look about it. the space could be better, but it isn't bad. the rooty style is awesome and different, in a good way. awesome job! ^^

Thanks for the comments. I thought about adding stars, but this moon has a thin atmosphere (evident around the sun and on the horizon) and I thought that the stars would be faded out by the light...
