Description
An friend of mine has assused me of stashing away a few captures of those who were making smoke in my previous image "Picnic Smoke". Okay, I am not a miser.

A super shot Nikolay, very atmospheric. I think a small swing of the camera to the left would have avoided the very dark area with no detail on the right and allowed the left to be filled with the illuminated smoke. Or even simply cropping the right side a little would do. Many thanks for sharing.

Love the wide pano canvas, the smoke and light fill it ever so right. The mood is very primal and mysterious. Their serious faces add something to the image that I can't put my finger on. Are they going to cook or burn something?...

Both of these "Picnic Smoke" photos feel like paintings of old Dutch Masters. The lighting in both is awesome! This one really promotes nostalgia, one remembers childhood scenes when looking at this. The father cooking a picnic dinner of an open fire, the son with a water bottle handy to sprinkle a few drops of water in case the fire gets too hot, ah yes, wonderful memories.
