Description

There is a place not far from here...on Narodni Trida; it's a small kiosk run by a woman who makes the best crepes in Prague. Well...maybe not, but they're incredibly good and the locals go there...or to the kiosk next to it for their potato pancakes or addictively good sausages (of dubious quality.) I was thinking of those potato pancakes and how weird it is to actually order them with chicken stuffed inside. I speak really bad Czech and the Czech word for "chicken" has an impossible letter "R" in it. You roll it as you would in Spanish, while simultaneously pronouncing the "zh" sound. As I was thinking, I started fiddling around in photoshop with the original photograph that this image came from. It's the third "dream/memory" image, which officially makes this the close of the Dream Memory Triptych...or something like that. Oh, there will probably be others...I'm quite sure of that, but I think that this image, along with its two accidental companions, encapsulates Prague in that one way that's been itching in my brain until now.
