More from the 250th Anniversary of the surrender of the British to the French at Fort William Henry, Lake George, NY. A little judicious photoshopping was done to remove development on the opposite shore. Taken at Military Point

Pretty good shot! I believe one of the original boats was raised and is now in the Smithsonian... Maybe it's later, but very similar to what you have here: Bow-mounted cannon.
